If you have a requirement to accept payments in a foreign currency and have them banked into an Australian based bank account then a SecurePay Multi Currency Service is for you. This may be particularly handy if you have a large overseas customer base who want to pay you in their local currency. It may also be of use if you need to pay for supplies or services in a foreign currency and you can make some sales in that same foreign currency. The ability to accept some or all of your payments in a foreign currency can reduce the effort and cost of continually converting currencies.
To accept foreign currency payments, you'll require a Multi Currency Merchant Service Facility from a bank. The National Australia Bank is currently the only bank in Australia which will provide you with this facility. This bank can provide you with the following denominated facilities:-

Once you have a Multi Currency Merchant Service Facility, SecurePay can then enable you to accept all of the above denominated payments and to easily reconcile them to your Multi Currency Merchant Service Facility. Each foreign currency can be viewed within the SecurePay Merchant Log In simply by selecting the foreign currency from a drop down view list.
The SecurePay MultiCurrency Service is available with the Secure XML API Integration and the Secure Java API Integration.
