Multicurrency
Multicurrency allow you to accept foreign currency payments without currency conversion.
If you
- need to accept payments in a foreign currency and have them banked into an Australian based bank account
- have a large overseas customer base who want to pay you in their local currency
- both receive and pay for goods in a foreign currency
- need to accept some or all of your payments in a foreign currency
To accept foreign currency payments, you'll require a Multicurrency Merchant Service Facility from a bank. The NAB is currently the only bank in Australia which will provide you with this facility. This bank can provide you with the following denominated facilities:
USD |
GBP |
JPY |
HKD |
NZD |
EUR |
CAD |
CHF |
SGD |
Once you have a Multicurrency Merchant Service Facility, SecurePay can then enable you to accept all of the above denominated payments and to easily report and reconcile them. Each foreign currency can be viewed within the SecurePay Merchant Log In simply by selecting the foreign currency from a drop down view list.
