How does it work?

This service works by SecurePay storing the credit card, charge card or debit bank account details of your customer along with your customer reference number.

Come time to pull a payment you send to SecurePay the details of the amount required to be paid and the customer reference number. The customer reference number is used to look up the credit card, charge card or debit bank account details and then the payment is Triggered.

The credit card, charge card or debit bank account details along with the customer reference number can be set up within the SecurePay system either electronically via an API Integration or alternatively they can be set up manually, one by one, via the SecurePay Merchant Log In.

Credit card and charge card payments can be Triggered either electronically via an API Integration or alternatively manually, one by one, via the SecurePay Merchant Log In.

Debit bank account payments can be Triggered manually, one by one, via the SecurePay Merchant Log In.

Security

You may currently have an in-house system doing something similar to this - but did you know that if your currently storing credit card numbers in your debtors, billing or accounting system then your at risk of allowing Card Number Theft and you may be in breach of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS)? Imagine the damage you will suffer if your customers feel you are risking the confidentiality of their account details.

Outsource your security and compliance requirements to SecurePay by using the SecurePay Triggered Service. All credit card, charge card and debit bank account information stored by SecurePay is done so within the SecurePay Data Base Vault, protected behind two forms of encryption methodologies and independently audited under PCI DSS.

Integration

The SecurePay Triggered Service is available with the Secure XML API Integration - Periodic & Triggered add in and the Secure Java API Integration - Periodic & Triggered add in.
