To reset your SecurePay Merchant Portal password follow the instructions below:

  1. Navigate to the SecurePay Merchant Portal

  2. Click on the 'Forgot your password?' link found under the red Log In button

  3. You will be prompted to enter your Merchant ID (MID), User Name and Email Address

  4. Once you have entered your details, click on the red Generate Password button

  5. You will receive a reset password email to your email inbox

  6. Copy the new temporary password and navigate back to the web browser to enter it in the login screen. Alternatively, you can carefully type out the new password.

  7. Once you login, you'll be prompted to set a new password. This password must:

    1. be between 10-100 characters

    2. include at least one upper case character

    3. include at least one lower case character

    4. include at least one digit

    5. include at least one special character (!"#$%&'()*+,-./\:;<=>?@[]^_`{|}~)

    6. not be the same as one of your last 12 passwords used

  8. You will be prompted to enter your current password, your new password and to confirm your new password and click save

  9. Your password is now reset and you have successfully logged in


Troubleshooting
Still unable to login?

  • If you copied the temporary password from the email, check that it does not have blank spaces either end as this will cause it to be unrecognized.

  • Didn’t get the email? This could take a few minutes to come through, and don’t forget to check your spam/junk folders.

  • Double check you’re entering the correct Merchant ID and user.

  • Make sure autofill isn't updating with the old credentials saved to your browser.

  • If prompted by a captcha, enter the case sensitive details carefully.

  • Ensure you’re logging into the right portal:
    Live Login URL: https://login.securepay.com.au/v4/
    Test Login URL: https://test.login.securepay.com.au/v4/

  • Clear your browser history, cookies, and cache.

  • Check that your browser is up to date and the latest version.

  • Try using incognito mode; alternatively, try a different browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge etc.)
